Earth Day Virtual Rally
On April 22, 2020, we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day with the first ever #IowaVirtualEarthDay. When the coronavirus crisis subsides, the climate crisis will still be with us and will continue to accelerate every day that we postpone proactive measures.
This is why we will use #IowaVirtualEarthDay to call on our leaders to focus their energy on protecting the health and well-being of Iowans by supporting renewable energy. On Earth Day 2020, Environment Iowa and our partners will host a virtual rally featuring local climate leaders while providing Iowans the opportunity to #ActonClimate, because staying home does not mean staying silent.
